With a history dating back to 1884, Swiss luxury watchmaker and aviation chronograph specialist, Breitling has revolutionised time telling over the last century. Paying tribute to their rich history, Breitling has re-introduced the iconic Navitimer in an exclusive 1,884
Aptly named the Navitimer 1884, the watch embodies classic elements of the original model including the famous 1952 aviation slide rule with a calendar featuring a pointer-type date display and twin day/month apertures for which the brand was renowned in the 1940s. The model has also been revamped for the modern day, standing out with a 46mm case, which accentuates the design and optimises dial readability.
The Navitimer returns to the Middle East with a technical and powerful design, with an all-black dial made using the “par épagne” technique on a solid silver base brightened with red accents. In addition to the choices of a bracelet or a leather or crocodile strap, the 1884 model is also available with a new black rubber strap featuring an aircraft tire-tread motif.
The model comes equipped with a self-winding chronograph movement which has been chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), the benchmark in terms of reliability and precision.
The Navitimer 1884 is now available across Breitling Boutiques and stores.
